Inductive proximity switches are ideal for non-contact detection of metal objects. A metal object that is located in the sensing region of the proximity switch, the electromagnetic field is changed, leading to a switching signal. Positions of metal objects or machine parts can be safely andwearare detected. The great advantage of the inductive proximity switch is in its almost full immunityagainst water and dirt .
